What keeps you in Sioux Falls?

The community! I love everything about the inviting and empowering energy Sioux Falls gives, especially for the younger generation.

What’s your favorite thing about your job?

The clients and the people I get to work with are unmatched. Collaboratively working with smart people every day always gets me jazzed.

How did you get connected to your industry?

I’ll never forget an account executive — who I later got to work alongside every day — came to talk about L&S at a class I took at Augustana, and I was hooked on the idea of working there ever since.

Describe your workplace in three words.

Bold. Driven. Lively.

What is something someone might be surprised to learn about you?

I seriously considered a full-time professional career as a ballerina and almost went all-in pursuing a company in NYC.

What’s your favorite way to give back to your community?

I love mentoring with TeamMates South Dakota. I currently am lucky enough to serve on their board of directors, and I always say it’s my favorite part of every week seeing my mentee, Addie.

What’s one business you’d like to see in Sioux Falls that isn’t here now?

Trader Joe’s – DUH!

If you had $1 million to start a business, what kind of business would it be?

I would create a dog retirement sanctuary center where I could take care of senior pups in their final years of life. Not sure if it would be a huge revenue driver, but gosh, it’d be fulfilling.
