Rosie’s Cafe has reopened under new ownership. It’s open Tuesday through Sunday at 2200 W. Madison St. — closed Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

Here’s the breakfast menu that’s served from 7 to 11 a.m. Tuesday through Friday and from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

Lunch is served from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday through Friday.

McNally’s Irish Pub now serves breakfast on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The menu includes breakfast favorites like eggs, bacon, sausage and potatoes in sliders, omelets, burritos, bowls and plates. There also are biscuits and sausage gravy with breakfast potatoes, and caramel pecan French toast.

Hook & Ladder Kitchen & Bar has new weekday lunch specials that are served from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Cascata Italian Cuisine has a special menu for Christmas Eve, beginning at 5 p.m. There also are two featured cocktails: Blitzen’s Bourbon and Sugar Plum Queen. Reservations are recommended.

The Tavern Grill will start celebrating the new year early with a special: buy two entrees and get a free dessert. The offer is good from Friday through Jan. 4. The restaurant also has special limited-time entrees.

Rivage Oak Kitchen has several new seasonal menu items: Pesto Pasta, Bison Short Rib Stroganoff and Fresh Icelandic Cod, which is served with lentils, Asian pear, honey-fermented pomegranate arils, hackleback caviar, preserved lemon, fennel fronds and buttermilk dill sauce. The restaurant also added to its steak options.

Thursday nights at Rivage Oak Kitchen now feature Oysters + Martinis. Buy four oysters and get the fifth one free. They are shucked to order. Martinis are $10.

Following the trend of high-protein diets, Chipotle has a new High Protein Menu with two bowls, a salad, burrito and taco. It also features Chipotle’s first snack: the High Protein Cup. It’s 4 ounces of adobo chicken or steak. See the full menu here.
