English-style estate with indoor pool tops sales report at $2.7M

An English-style estate on 7 wooded acres in a rural neighborhood near Good Earth State Park topped the list of the most expensive residential sales for the week of Oct. 28 at $2.7 million.

The 8,500-square-foot brick home was built in 1991 in the Indian Hills development. It has five bedrooms and six baths. Features include an indoor pool, climate-controlled atrium, a bonus detached three-stall garage and a pond.

It also appears as the No. 3 sale for the week at $2.5 million as those owners fulfilled a contract for deed before selling it for $2.7 million.

The No. 2 house on the weekly report, which is in south Sioux Falls, sold for $2.65 million.

On the top 10 list, two houses sold in the $1 million to $2 million range.
