A 7,300-square-foot house in south Sioux Falls topped the list of the most expensive residential sales for the week of Sept. 2 at almost $2.4 million.

The two-story walkout was built in 1991 on an almost 2-acre lot in the Emerald Acres neighborhood along the west leg of Prairie Green Golf Course. It has six bedrooms and seven bathrooms. The property features entrances off of two streets.

A second home topped the million-dollar mark. The 4,000-square-foot house on 13 acres between Sioux Falls and Wall Lake sold for almost $1.6 million. It has four bedrooms and four bathrooms. The property includes 5,500-square-foot outbuilding.
