Vishnu Bunny Tattoo finds new downtown location
Sept. 24, 2024
Vishnu Bunny Tattoo and Piercing is staying downtown.
The business at 202 S. Phillips Ave. had been looking for a new location since its building was bought earlier this year.
The new owners, the Ode family, who also own Crawford’s Bar & Grill and Wagoo Burger, are planning a new food and beverage concept for the space.
That left Vishnu Bunny hoping to stay downtown but unsure of its future until recently.
Things changed when the space at 335 N. Main Ave. became a fit.
It’s a historic building that dates back to 1892 and includes parking, a lawn and gazebo. The first floor used to be Evans Portraits.
Vishnu Bunny posted on social media that today is moving day.
“We’re staying downtown!” the post said. “That’s right, we did our best, kept a positive outlook, and a wonderful building owner stepped up to say ‘Come on in, you got a home here.'”

A time line for reopening wasn’t posted.
“We have most certainly leveled up our place we call home,” the business said.
