The “Down Home” DeBoers are bringing a bit of their business downtown soon.

Chelsea and Cole DeBoer, who live in the Sioux Falls area and just finished their second season of “Down Home Fab,” a home remodeling show on HGTV, are working with Pendar Properties to stage a loft at Cherapa Place.

It will be available to tour from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. June 1 as part of the Spring Downtown Loft Tour.

The loft inside The Dakota Flats at Cherapa Place will be staged with merchandise from Down Home by DeBoers, the couple’s new home decor and furnishings business that recently opened in Tea.

“We’re so excited,” Chelsea DeBoer said. “It’s going to be like ‘shop and see.’ So during the Loft Tour, you can come check it out, see the place all staged and move-in ready, and you’ll be able to shop the items.”

While DeBoer is known for her love of country living, after seeing the new lofts downtown, she felt a bit like “I’m missing out on something. It’s so beautiful,” she said. “The amenities are so incredible, and just being right in the middle of the hustle and bustle, this location is amazing. So we’re just excited to be a small part of it.”

Pendar Properties is sponsoring this year’s Downtown Loft Tour, and “we felt like partnering with the DeBoers was such a fun way to celebrate their success and all the new living options opening downtown,” co-owner Anne Haber said.

“We can’t wait to see how they transform one of our mass-timber lofts into a space that highlights their unique style, and we know our guests at the Loft Tour are going to love meeting the DeBoers and gaining some inspiration from them.”
