Three South Dakota companies have been named to a list of businesses Inc. magazine says are making “an outsized impact” in the Midwest.

The creator of the Inc. 5000 list of fastest-growing companies based the 2023 regional lists on revenue growth from 2019 to 2021. Making the list from South Dakota are:

• No. 73: MarketBeat, Sioux Falls, with 230 percent growth.
• No. 159: Weisser Distributing, Tea and Sioux Falls, 91 percent growth.
• No. 172: Weather-Tite Exteriors of Rapid City, 83 percent growth.

The Midwest includes Kansas, Indiana, Illinois, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota and Wisconsin.

The Inc. 5000 list typically is released in August. Last year, 10 South Dakota companies made that list.
