2 homes built almost century apart top million-dollar mark in sales report

Two homes topped the million-dollar mark for residential sales for the week of June 21.

The most expensive home sold for $1,100,000. It’s a two-story walkout in the Prairie Hills neighborhood in south Sioux Falls that was built in 2014. It has 5,200 square feet, with five bedrooms and four bathrooms.

The other home, which is in central Sioux Falls, sold for $1,050,000. The 4,200-square-foot, two-story home was built in 1915 but has been added on to and remodeled, keeping the integrity of the original home. It has five bedrooms and five bathrooms.

The property transfer information comes from the Minnehaha County Director of Equalization Office and the Lincoln County Register of Deeds Office. Addresses are for Sioux Falls unless noted.
