Aug. 14, 2024
A dozen South Dakota companies rank among the nation’s fastest-growing businesses, according to the annual Inc. 5000 list.
It’s the 43rd year that Inc. 5000 has ranked private companies based on three-year revenue growth.
This is the most South Dakota companies to make the list since 2019.
Companies must apply to qualify for the list and have been generating revenue by March 31, 2020, and be U.S.-based, privately held, for-profit and independent — not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies — as of Dec. 31, 2023. The minimum revenue required for 2019 is $100,000; the minimum for 2022 is $2 million.
