Aug. 13, 2025

Ten South Dakota companies rank among the nation’s fastest-growing businesses, according to the annual Inc. 5000 list.

It’s the 44th year that Inc. 5000 has ranked private companies based on three-year revenue growth.

Last year, 12 South Dakota companies made the list.

Companies must apply to qualify for the list and have been generating revenue by March 31, 2021, and be U.S.-based, privately held, for-profit and independent — not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies — as of Dec. 31, 2024. The minimum revenue required for 2020 is $100,000; the minimum for 2024 is $2 million.

South Dakota companies making the list are:

  • No. 427: Phase 3, Sioux Falls, 955 percent growth. Payments processing firm using technology to help its business clients optimize operations.
  • No. 1,552: Wild Oak Boutique, Sioux Falls, 282 percent growth. Online boutique selling women’s clothing, shoes and accessories.
  • No. 1,756: AVPro Global Holdings, Sioux Falls, 249 percent growth. A family of brands with a mission to make life easier on integrators and users of home and industrial technology systems.
  • No. 1,776: Empower U, Sioux Falls, 246 percent growth. A cash-based physical therapy company revolutionizing health care by prioritizing client outcomes and accessibility.
  • No. 2,364: My3Tech, Pierre, 180 percent growth. Provider of advanced IT solutions globally.
  • No. 2,558: Silencer Central, Sioux Falls, 165 percent growth. Firearm sound suppressor retailer, simplifying the process of safely and legally obtaining a silencer.
  • No. 3,500: Weller Brothers Landscaping, Sioux Falls, 111 percent growth. Landscape architecture, construction and maintenance company.
  • No. 4,035: Ruff Land Performance, Tea, 89 percent growth. Custom rotational molding company that says it “takes old plastic dog kennels to the next level in safety, durability, customization and affordability.”
  • No. 4,076: Expansion Capital Group, Sioux Falls, 88 percent growth. Financial services firm partnering with small-business owners to provide working capital solutions with “speed, simplicity and service.”
  • No. 4,809 American Consumer News (MarketBeat), Sioux Falls, 59 percent growth. Digital media company providing real-time financial data and objective market analysis, allowing individual investors to make better trading decisions.

For MarketBeat, it marks a rare 10th appearance on the list. Fewer than 1 percent of companies on the list achieve a decade-long streak.

“Ten straight years on the Inc. 5000 proves that consistency compounds,” said Matt Paulson, founder and CEO. “We keep showing up, measuring what works and doubling down on our proven growth strategies. What makes this recognition meaningful is that it reflects long-term momentum, not just a lucky year. We’re building a business that lasts, not just one that grows fast.”
