While noise is a common complaint at older car washes, those developed and built by Midwest Fidelity Partners, including Silverstar Car Wash, use sound-deadening technology that makes a significant difference.

“It’s a considerable investment, but there are multiple benefits,” co-founder Bryan Slama said. “Our washes actually generate less sound than the surrounding street noise or even normal conversation.”

The high-tech Aerodry blower system used by Midwest Fidelity Partners involves an axial fan, similar to a window fan, that’s fully insulated, offering very low noise levels but still plenty of power.

For instance, in a traditional dryer system, maximum decibels can approach 120, while the systems used by Midwest Fidelity Partners are 60 decibels and lower.

“What you see elsewhere in the industry can be so loud it projects into neighboring properties and across the neighborhood,” Slama said.  “Our construction and equipment techniques make our noise impact neutral to the surroundings.”

Additionally, Midwest Fidelity Partners uses a run-silent system for its vacuums, which involves a central system that means the dryer noise doesn’t extend beyond the car wash lot.

“It won’t sound different than road noise and, depending on the traffic speed, may be lower,” Slama said. “Other standard vacuum systems can make a loud, constant noise.”

This investment in sound-deadening technology means an MFP-built car wash adds zero additional noise to the neighborhood, benefiting all who live and work near a Silverstar.

“It’s the right thing to do – for our team members, the customers and communities we serve,” Slama said.

Innovation also can be seen at work when it comes to how Midwest Fidelity Partners handles water at the wash.

Its cutting-edge technology is designed to minimize water use.

“We install our equipment systems at the maximum allowable points within the wash to recapture reusable water throughout the wash tunnel,” Slama said.

Optimizing water use not only treats a natural resource sustainably – it helps keep costs down for customers and operators.

“Washing a vehicle with our approach means using about half the water a person would use washing a vehicle at home,” Slama said.

“Additionally, thanks to our advanced water treatment systems, we’re able to recycle water as much as possible. Not only that, it’s high-quality water that then can be reused effectively. And while we have cutting-edge systems today, we’re committed to continually evaluating them to ensure we’re doing business sustainably and in a way that ensures we’re not only good employers but good community citizens.”
