Drink a craft beer to celebrate

From staff reports

It’s American Craft Beer Week, and breweries and bars in Sioux Falls are joining the celebration.

Here’s a smattering of the specials you can find this week:

WoodGrain Brewing Co. is at Ninth Street and Phillips Avenue.

Hydra Beer Co. released an amber ale Monday night, and each night there will be a food truck at the brewery on South Shirley Avenue near Century movie theater.

Fernson Brewing Co. does not have any special events this week, but it is the true meaning of American craft beer.

Find a new blueberry cream ale at Prairie Berry East bank from its sidekick, Miner Brewing Co. The restaurant is offering Pints and Paws on Wednesday, Craft Beer & Bingo on Saturday and Beer Brunch Sunday.

TapHouse 41 in the Western Mall has a launch party Thursday night for Avery Brewing Co.

Each day this week, Monk’s House of Ale Repute is featuring a rare or classic Surly beer.
