A new partnership with Eide Bailly offers clients at the Zeal Center for Entrepreneurship the chance to connect with expert advice from Sioux Falls’ largest accounting firm.

The Eide Bailly Possibilities Center is a new suite of services that started in Sioux Falls this spring. The center is led by Matt Stone, who originally is from Yankton and has owned and operated a number of small businesses.

“The Possibilities Center has been growing by leaps and bounds in Fargo,” said Jessica Armstrong, who leads business development in the Sioux Falls office. “We’ve been waiting to bring the Possibilities Center to Sioux Falls and waiting for the right person to do that. Now that we’ve found Matt, he’s working with businesses and different resources, including Zeal.”

Stone will hold office hours at Zeal to answer Zeal clients’ questions, help evaluate business plans and offer recommendations.

The Possibilities Center is structured to provide a variety of services small businesses need, from basic accounting up to CFO-level strategic services plus outsourced services such as human resources and I.T.

Here’s a look at the range of services offered:

“We’re there as a partner to help Zeal members,” Stone said. “Their members have access to ask questions, and we’re there to help as a sounding board. Most business owners don’t go into business thinking about the accounting function, so it can really suffer.”

If Zeal clients or other businesses in the community decide to use the Possibilities Center for ongoing services, there are set monthly fees. For instance, businesses that don’t need or can’t fund a full-time bookkeeper could contract with the center for the services.

“We want to be a resource,’ Stone said. “Eide Bailly is 100 percent behind the entrepreneurial environment.”
