Jan. 31, 2024

This paid event listing is sponsored by The First National Bank in Sioux Falls.

Family business owners and ag producers are invited to gain valuable insight regarding the economy and ever-changing agricultural landscape at an upcoming event.

The 15th annual Cultivate Your Future event from the First National Bank Ag Team will take place Feb. 15 and feature a dynamic lineup of speakers, including Dr. Joe Santos, director of the SDSU Ness School of Management and Economics.

“At First National Bank, we believe everyone should be a lifelong learner,” said Brian Gilbert, ag banking manager. “This event provides the tools and education ag producers and business owners need to sharpen their skills and be well-informed — giving you a leg up on other local businesses.”

Cultivate Your Future will start at 9:30 a.m. at the Hilton Garden Inn South, 5300 S. Grand Circle. You do not have to be a First National Bank customer to attend.

“This year’s event will offer expertise on global economics, the industry’s best weather outlook, grain marketing information and some of the challenges producers will face in the coming years from an ever-changing consumer perception of the way we operate,” Gilbert said.

Here’s a look at the full agenda:

“Our community involvement is focused on events that have a huge economic impact on Sioux Falls and the surrounding communities, as well as highlight the ag industry and what our farmers are doing to help feed the world,” Gilbert said.

“Our annual Cultivate Your Future event is just one more way we can add value for our community members. Plus, we love to see our ag producers and local business owners all in one place so we can learn and grow together.”
