This striking residence exemplifies organic-modern design with a balance of warmth and simplicity achieved through natural materials, purposeful details and clean architectural lines.
“The home is what I call a sort of desert modern. The textures, colors and material selections exude a warmth that makes it truly inviting,” said Jarrod Smart, owner of Jarrod Smart Construction Co.
From the moment you step inside, natural wood tones and limestone accents set the tone for a cohesive design that flows from interior to exterior.
Custom white oak kitchen cabinetry, natural stone and quartzite countertops and modern wood panel walls conceal hidden entries for a clean, minimalist look.
An oversized natural stone island serves as the focal point of the kitchen, transitioning into an integrated wood dining table for a truly custom touch.
Purposeful, modern lighting highlights the home’s architectural lines and materials throughout the home.
The 6,500-square-foot main level features an expansive kitchen with a full pantry, great room, dining area, home gym, office and a six-stall heated garage. Three bedrooms, three full bathrooms and three half-bathrooms complete the main floor.
Outdoors, guests can enjoy a beautifully landscaped setting designed for connection and relaxation, complete with a pool, hot tub, fireplace and full stainless steel kitchen.
“We’re excited to showcase this home,” Smart said. “It’s a great chance to see the level of detail and craftsmanship that goes into each of our projects, from design through construction. Our client has a great design sense and vision, along with a strong eye for detail that makes the space we created together truly wonderful. ”
For those interested in building or remodeling, Smart noted that while available lots may sometimes appear limited, creative possibilities remain.
“There are still plenty of opportunities for great building locations out there,” he said.
“Sometimes, that means looking beyond standard neighborhoods and exploring options like tear-down and rebuild projects or farm sites that may make estate-type acreages, where we can design a house that complements the uniqueness of the property and surroundings. We love helping clients find creative sites and designing homes or remodels that make the most of every property.”
That level of vision, he explained, is what often leads to the most rewarding outcomes.
“Sometimes, building-ready sites are limited, but that challenge pushes us to find the hidden gems and properties that ultimately become the perfect setting for a client’s unique custom home,” Smart said.
Despite broader market caution, Smart said the company’s pipeline remains strong.
“We’re currently designing multiple new projects and remodels, and currently have homes and remodels underway,” he said. “We’re seeing renewed confidence from clients who are ready to move forward on projects that may have been in the planning stages the last year or two. ”
A project of this scale” takes a true team effort,” he added. “A huge thank-you to our talented subcontractors and vendors, the Jarrod Smart Construction Co. team and especially Senior Project Manager Nick Kapperman for leading the way. And a special thanks to the client and the team at Laura Lien Interior Design for bringing such warmth and vision to the home.”
Smart said his favorite part of the home “is the overall design cohesiveness that makes it such an entertainment powerhouse. The pool’s strategic placement maximizes views both from inside the home and from the resort-style deck, all without obstructing sight lines with guardrails. It creates a seamless connection between the home and the outdoor living spaces.”
No tickets or appointments are required, simply stop by 709 E. Silver Pond Place from noon to 5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 11, or Sunday, Oct. 12, to tour the home and meet the team behind it!
