Ten up-and-coming sales and marketing leaders have been named Rising in Excellence nominees by Sales & Marketing Executives Inc. of Sioux Falls.

The award will be announced June 27 at the Sioux Falls Leadership Summit and recognizes a member of SME who is between the ages of 25 and 45, has contributed to the South Dakota business community and continues to grow and lead.

The 2023 Rising in Excellence nominees are:

• Andrea Carstensen, Minnwest Bank.
• Olivia Essig, Sioux Empire United Way.
• Lexie Feterl, Boys & Girls Clubs of the Sioux Empire.
• Dana Fisher, Fisher & Co Real Estate.
• Melissa Heckel, Branch Creative Co.
• Jamie Hegge, Lawrence & Schiller.
• Katie Herrmann, Profile Plan.
• Nichelle Lund, Holiday Inn City Centre.
• Janean Michalov, Furniture Mission.
• Ronnie Stovall, Vern Eide Motorcars.

The winner will be announced along with a presentation of the South Dakota Sales & Marketing Executive of the Year award to Tom Van Wyhe, former owner of JSI Trane and community volunteer.
