Fourteen businesses in Sioux Falls and beyond are starting a monthlong promotion to encourage local shopping.

The businesses, which include boutiques, coffee shops, wellness studios, bakeries and makers markets, “are coming together to encourage community shopping and drive foot traffic to our local storefronts,” said Christi Petersen, owner of Seasoned Style.

The March Madness Shop Hop will offer a Shop Hop card at all participating locations. Shoppers will collect stamps to be entered to win a grand prize gift basket. Each business also will host in-store giveaways and specials.
