Sioux Falls-based Woltman Group PC and Lamfers & Maas LLP are merging today.

Eric Maas and his staff will join Woltman Group, and clients of both firms will continue to work with the same team members.

Lamfers & Maas has its origins more than 40 years ago. In 2003, Jerry Noonan partnered with Rodney Lamfers to form Noonan & Lamfers LLP, and soon after Lamfers assumed the managing partner role. Eric Maas joined the firm in 2007, became a partner in 2010, and the firm became Lamfers & Maas LLP. In 2011, Lamfers died from leukemia, and Maas assumed the managing partner role.

Woltman Group has been providing accounting and tax services to businesses and individuals since 1988, first as Pfeiffer Woltman Kutz PC. From 2008 to 2010, several additional partners joined the firm, and in 2016 it was rebranded as Woltman Group PC.

Today, Woltman Group serves thousands of business and individual clients throughout the Upper Midwest. The team provides a  variety of personalized business advisory services in addition to a full line of traditional accounting and tax services. In addition to the Sioux Falls office at 7001 S. Lyncrest Place, Woltman Group has offices in Marion and Aberdeen.
