Brookings-based Falcon Plastics has purchased a facility in China designed to enhance its presence in the Asian market.

The company, which provides custom plastic molding solutions, has fully acquired Poly-Cast in Suzhou, which it previously co-owned with Viking Plastics.

The Poly-Cast facility will allow Falcon Plastics to better support U.S.-based customers with operations in Asia, Falcon Plastics said in a statement.

“At Falcon Plastics, our goal is to continuously evolve in ways that best serve our customers,” executive vice president Kyle Bender said.

“By becoming the sole owner of Poly-Cast, we can streamline operations and provide more efficient solutions for our global customer base. This acquisition strengthens our ability to offer global support while maintaining our commitment to innovation, quality and customer satisfaction.”

Poly-Cast has been a key component of Falcon Plastics’ international presence, delivering high-quality plastic molding services for a wide range of industries, the company said.

“With full ownership, Falcon Plastics is better positioned to provide seamless service across its global operations, meeting the needs of customers around the world,” it continued. “This acquisition reaffirms Falcon Plastics’ dedication to expanding its global capabilities while continuing to deliver superior custom molding solutions. The company remains committed to fostering innovation and exceeding customer expectations worldwide.”
