Titans Tavern in Tea has started serving breakfast on the weekend. The menu is available from 7 to 11 a.m. Saturday and Sunday.

If you’re looking for a weekend brunch spot, Let It Fly now has breakfast offerings from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday and Sunday in addition to its full menu.

The Sunday breakfast buffet is back at Pinz in Dell Rapids. It’s served from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Owner Casey McCoy said he’s offering more “chef’s picks” this fall in addition to the usual bacon, sausage and egg staples. Last week, a “breakfast lasagna” feature was popular on the buffet, he said. Homemade cinnamon rolls are new too.

Oktoberfest kicks off at 11 a.m. Saturday at Remedy Brewing Co. Enjoy live music, games, daschund races, a home-brewing competition and the annual stein-holding contest. The new restaurant BibiSol is celebrating the anniversary of Mexico’s independence from Spain with a three-course prix fixe offering that’s available through Saturday. The meal starts with an Heirloom Tomate Tostada, followed by Chile Relleno and then Squash Tamal.

Crack’d Pot Restaurant has added another all-you-can eat broasted chicken night. The $15 special is available now on Saturdays from 5 to 8 p.m. in addition to Tuesdays. It comes with a biscuit, choice of potato and salad bar. The restaurant still offers steak tip specials on Saturday nights too.

Red Lobster has exited its Chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings with a new owner, RL Investor Holdings. “Our comprehensive and long-term investment plan for Red Lobster includes a commitment of more than $60 million in new funding, which will help us to deliver improvements across every aspect of our company,” new CEO Damola Adamolekun said in a statement. Dozens of locations closed in the bankruptcy process, but the company now has 545 restaurants in the U.S. and Canada, including one in Sioux Falls.

Changes in hours, service

  • The first B&G Milkyway closing for the season is almost here. The 12th Street location’s final day is Sunday. Find specials on grab-bag novelties and half-gallon Avalanches.
  • The pop-up barbecue stand Who Wan’ Smoke is moving to a new location. It’s no longer operating at 49th and Minnesota, and starting next week will be in the Vape Pen Sales parking lot at 1101 S. Cliff Ave. Temporary hours for the first week will be lunch only on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday and lunch and dinner Monday, Thursday and Saturday. After that, it will be open for lunch and dinner every day but Sunday.
