Recent videos highlight Sioux Falls as destination for leisure, business

For Experience Sioux Falls, video has been and continues to be a key factor in showcasing Sioux Falls to potential visitors.
“We have seen great engagement from our audience, both leisure travelers and professional planners, on our video content promoting the many different things to do in the city,” said Krista Orsack, director of marketing.
“Video has been a very effective strategy for us because it not only allows us to display stunning visuals, but it’s also an opportunity to tell a story.”
ESF continues to roll out videos in a series that features locals discussing their passions and what they enjoy most about Sioux Falls. Recent videos have focused on travel interests like family fun, outdoors/active and music enthusiasts. The latest video is a culinary-focused one featuring Joshua Jackson, director of culinary for Vanguard Hospitality.
This past year, ESF created three videos to help sell the city as a destination for meetings and conventions, group tours and sports events. These videos give an overview of the variety of venues, facilities and amenities in Sioux Falls for each respective market.
“Our sales team has had quite a few conversations with planners across the country who have said how pleasantly surprised they are with our city after watching these videos,” Orsack said.
“While materials like our planner guide remain the go-to source for planning information, these new videos are another tool in our toolbox to shine a light on Sioux Falls as a destination.”
