Fast-growing Goosmann Law Firm is the first business to commit to space at the new Prairie Hills Galleria, a new mixed-use project at 69th Street and Western Avenue.

The almost 25,000-square-foot, two-story building will be under construction soon on the southwest corner as final site work finishes up.

“We couldn’t be happier to welcome Goosmann Law to the Galleria,”  Raquel Blount, vice president of commercial real estate at Lloyd Cos. and the listing agent for the Galleria, said in a statement.

“The Galleria is designed for a blend of retail tenants and office users, and it is absolutely going to deliver the first-class design and experience to complement the Goosmann brand.“

Goosmann, which is among the top 100 fastest-growing law firms nationwide, has 10 team members in Sioux Falls and plans to double in size. The total 55-person team splits time among Sioux Falls and offices in Sioux City and Omaha.

The full-service law firm focuses on representing business owners, professionals and regional companies. Its office at 5010 S. Minnesota Ave. isn’t far from the future Galleria site.

“As an owner of the Galleria project, we are very excited about the amenities, design, location and future of the Galleria.  The Galleria is another Class A space by Lloyd Cos. and, wow, is it going to be beautiful,” founder Jeana Goosmann said.

“The building fits our brand with clean and modern lines and elegant professional design. Sixty-ninth and Western is a great location, and it will be convenient for our Sioux Falls clients and team with easy access and parking. There is 18,500 square feet remaining to lease at the Galleria, split between both levels.

“We are in active negotiations with a number of businesses on those spaces, and we don’t think it will be long before we have additional announcements,” Blount said. “The traffic counts combined with the demographics and the ease of access are making this a very sought-after space. ”

Prairie Hills Galleria is expected to open in late spring of 2019.
