Turns out, the genie granted a wish for the Washington Pavilion.

The recent “Aladdin” Broadway tour stop became the highest-grossing event in the theater’s history, “shattering all previous records for ticket sales,” according to a statement from the Washington Pavilion.

The run of eight performances saw 85 percent of all available seats sold and generated more than $1 million in revenue.

“We continue to be both humbled and honored by the support of this community and the entire region. The record-breaking success of Disney’s “Aladdin” is just the latest example of this,” Darrin Smith, president and CEO of Washington Pavilion Management Inc., said in a statement.

“This achievement is a testament to not only the incredibly talented cast and the dedication of our staff but also the unwavering support from our community and surrounding region. They’ve truly embraced Broadway like never before with this production, and it has been incredible to witness!”

The record marks another reason for the Pavilion to celebrate in its 25th anniversary season and follows a top five ranking from “Beetlejuice,” which toured this fall and also had eight performances.

The other all-time top performing shows were “Jersey Boys” in 2014, “The Book of Mormon” in 2017 and “Les Miserables” in 2019.
