The first Nekter Juice Bar in Sioux Falls opens next week.

It’s in a retail center at the east-side Dawley Farm Village that includes tenants such as T-Mobile, Jersey Mike’s Subs and SafeSplash Swim School.

Nekter opens Wednesday, Jan. 10, at 609 S. Highline Place and is being franchised by Jody and Melissa Reno.

“We’ve had a lot of positive feedback about Nekter coming to Sioux Falls,” Jody Reno said. “Several who want to learn more about our products, especially the juice cleanses and detox products, and many who have been to one in California or Arizona that are excited for us to open.”

Nekter Juice Bar offers a menu of freshly made juices, smoothies and acai bowls that are made to order without any hidden fillers, unnecessary sugars, processed ingredients or artificial flavors.

Customers can choose from six fresh juices, 12 smoothies and eight acai bowls, plus a variety of healthy snacks.

There also are custom options, grab-and-go beverages and cold-pressed cleanses.

“We’re just putting the finishing touches on,” Reno said. “Artwork and menu boards are up, food delivery is received, and our franchise trainer is here to help train our staff.”

Hiring “has been good, lots of candidates,” he added.

The store can still take some team members who can work weekdays between the 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. timeframe. Send resumes to [email protected]. There’s also an opening for an assistant manager.
