Oct. 18, 2021
Mexican restaurant Plaza Azteca, which started on the East Coast and then expanded to Fargo, is coming to Sioux Falls.
Contractors for the restaurant took out a building permit at 3500 W. 69th St., which is vacant land south of WilLiquors, for a 4,400-square foot restaurant valued at $1.4 million.
The Fargo location opened in early 2020. The restaurant was founded in the 1990s in Virginia Beach, Virginia, and expanded to 40 locations along the East Coast.
The Fargo location promotes its authentic and flavorful Mexican dishes, including table-side guacamole and homemade salsa.
The menu includes a large variety of burritos, enchiladas, tacos, fajitas, seafood, steak and chicken dishes, vegetarian options and salads.
