At least four retailers will be going out of business this month at The Empire Mall.

Saturday, Jan. 15, will be the last day for Yankee Candle. The store has marked down much of its merchandise.

Longtime retailer PacSun has marked all merchandise half off, and all sales are final. The last day is scheduled for Jan. 25.

Bohme Boutique also is closing after 10 years in the mall.

The Utah-based boutique’s last day is scheduled to be Jan. 29.

G&M Braiding Studio plans to close at the end of the month. Braiding services are still available at the G&M Beauty Plus shop at 1513 E. 10th St. G&M Beauty Plus also has a separate supply shop in the mall, and that’s staying open.

And while Pro Image Sports might look like it’s closing, the plan is to transition ownership to a new local franchisee, according to a store employee.

The closures follow several new openings at the mall to end 2021, including Anthropologie, Offline by Aerie and Windsor.
