Tom McAdaragh has been named president and chief operating officer of Midco.

The new role will focus on the company’s critical customer-facing activities, Midco said in a statement.

McAdaragh currently leads the operations, IT and technology teams, representing 1,300 employees for the company that provides internet, TV and telephone services across five states.

His brother, Pat McAdaragh, serves as Midco’s chair and CEO.

“Tom’s education, extensive experience and strong performance position him well for this role,” Pat McAdaragh said in a statement. “I have the utmost confidence in Tom, knowing he will continue to elevate our network, product engineering and information security.”

Midco also named Ben Dold as senior vice president of operations, supporting the customer experience and company mission.

“Ben is a proven leader of people. He cares deeply about our teams that directly impact our customers,” Pat McAdaragh said. “Ben also understands that we must continue to get better, providing ongoing stability and enhanced services for our customers.”

Tom McAdaragh and Dold are based in Sioux Falls.
