Microblading, permanent makeup studio expands into downtown location

Nov. 17, 2023

Victory Ink, a microblading and permanent makeup studio, has moved into a new, expanded location downtown.

The business is open along the boardwalk at The Cascade, 701 N. Phillips Ave., Suite 145.

Owner Rachel Lemons founded the business in 2020 after 23 years working in corporate business development.

“As a mom, I wanted to better control my work schedule while also pouring real love and support into the women of our community,” she said.

“After having my own brows done, I was obsessed. I’ve now completed hundreds of hours of master-level trainings and became board certified by the prestigious American Academy Of Micropigmentation earlier this year.”

Victory Ink offers “hyper realistic” microblading and brow services, lash line enhancement eyeliner, lip blushing and paramedical tattoos.

“Every single step is customized, which is not the industry standard, for the safest and most natural results possible,” Lemons said.

“I’m also the only certified Xtract ink chelation pigment removal artist in the region and partner with Call to Freedom to remove branding from trafficking survivors.”

She opened Victory Ink Training Academy in 2022 to provide natural brow training, and she launched the region’s first personalized Cosmetic Tattoo Apprentice Program this summer “to help new artists succeed, which includes robust one-on-one business coaching,” she said.

The new 1,000-square-foot storefront allows for a studio, training facility and space for a second brow artist.

“We believe that restored confidence is a personal victory for each client, and it’s an absolute honor to share part of each story,” Lemons said.
