Three Sioux Falls McDonald’s restaurants will get the brand’s latest look in a series of remodeling projects this year.

Work has started on the location at 917 E. 10th St. and is expected to continue until mid-August.

“We’re putting a new facade on it, going to redo the dining room and put some new bells and whistles in it,” franchisee Rick Lessnau said.

New technology being added will include touch-screen ordering.

The restaurant will stay open throughout the project.

Shortly after that renovation is done, a similar one will start at 3200 S. Minnesota Ave., followed by one at 4903 N. Cliff Ave.

Last year, Lessnau remodeled the restaurant at 2416 W. 12th St. and rebuilt the location at 4000 W. 41st St.
