Jones421 marketplace is full as new businesses plan openings

Jan. 25, 2019

The first floor of the Jones421 building is full.

The marketplace of small businesses at 421 N. Phillips Ave. will add several new ventures in the coming months, starting this week with MK Threads.

The boutique opened in a small space in the Jones building last year and expanded to a bigger one this week. Hours are 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday, and 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday through Saturday.

It’s subleasing part of its space to Corduroy & Pixie Dust, a Dell Rapids children’s clothing store. The store is building out its own space in the building that will open in the coming months.

Intoxibakes has started construction of its bake shop, which will open in February. It will be in the former MK Threads space.

Papa Woody’s Wood Fired Pizza is planning its expansion to the building for the spring.

The final tenant in the Jones building is expected to start construction soon. It’s a restaurant with a focus on healthy options such as salads and bowls.

There are three condominiums left for sale on the upper floors of the building.
