A home nestled in the trees in southeast Sioux Falls that sold for almost $1.4 million topped the list of the most expensive residential sales for the week of April 14.

The two-story walkout was custom built in 2002 on an acre in the Orchard Creek Estate neighborhood. At 4,300 square feet, the house has five bedrooms and five bathrooms. It sold in 2023 for $975,000.
