The most expensive residential sale for the week of Aug. 29 was $1.2 million for a home in the gated Estates on Yankton Trail neighborhood in south Sioux Falls.

The 5,200-square-foot, all-brick home has three bedrooms and three bathrooms. It was built in 2004 by Deffenbaugh Construction on a half-acre lot. Features include a contoured open staircase and a panoramic view of the backyard from the main floor and lower level. A temperature-controlled wine cellar holds 310 bottles.
