Grand Falls Casino announces $10M expansion

June 13, 2019

Grand Falls Casino & Golf Resort will start a $10 million expansion and renovation to add sports betting, a hotel addition and an expanded RV park.

The Larchwood, Iowa, resort plans to start construction at the end of June and finish its Sportsbook and a new entertainment venue by August.

The hotel and RV park are scheduled to be done next summer.

The renovation and expansion will include the conversion of the Show Lounge into a new Sportsbook and the expansion of the Center Bar into a musical entertainment destination featuring acoustic-style performances.

“Once completed, the Sportsbook will offer food and spirit options to cater to the tastes of the sports enthusiast, plush seating and TVs galore of every size so fans can watch their favorite game,” said Sharon Haselhoff,  general manager. “We work hard to provide an exceptional entertainment experience to our guests. These new renovations and additions will offer an unmatched gaming and resort experience, drawing guests from the tri-state area.”

The addition of 63 hotel rooms will include an elevated corridor overlooking the outdoor pool and pool deck, for a total of 160 hotel rooms. The RV park will offer 39 campsites.

“These projects are consistent with our business philosophy of reinvesting in our properties, providing world-class facilities, luxurious amenities, exceptional food and great guest services for all of our guests,” Haselhoff said.

Construction and renovation will not impede gaming, dining and resort activities.

Grand Falls opened in 2011.
