MarketBeat is among today’s featured companies on Google Play.

The mobile app product from Google has been featuring businesses that have built apps and games offered through Google Play as part of a campaign called #WeArePlay.

Sioux Falls-based MarketBeat’s mobile app is published on Google Play, allowing the app to reach every Android user in the U.S.

“About 50,000 people have installed MarketBeat’s app through the Google Play Store,” MarketBeat founder and CEO Matt Paulson said. “It is a great discoverability tool for MarketBeat that allows investors to find out about MarketBeat using a unique channel.”

The Google Play feature notes how Paulson created his first personal finance blog while still in college at DSU.
