A Japanese-inspired retailer that caters to younger generations with “affordable, well-made products” is coming to The Empire Mall.

Miniso, which is based in China, has more than 5,500 stores in more than 100 countries and regions, and the Sioux Falls location will be its first in South Dakota. It “offers easy access to affordable, well-made products from household items to daily life products, health and beauty, fashion accessories and more,” the mall said in a news release.

It entered the U.S. market in 2017.

The store will be between Express and Footlocker. It’s expected to open in the spring.
