Get ready to bid: Classic Car Auction fills up with entries

July 22, 2022

This paid event listing is sponsored by The Sioux Falls Classic Car Auction

The second annual Sioux Falls Classic Car Auction comes to town later this month, and the lineup is something every auto-lover will want to see.

“We’re expecting a great assortment of classic and collector cars for the auction,” said co-organizer Craig Gould.

“Something for everyone is going to cross the auction block at the second annual Sioux Falls Classic Car Auction.”

Want a preview of what he means?

Think 1925 Model T Depot Hack.

Or 1962 Chevrolet Corvette. Or 1969 Pontiac GTO Judge.

You could go home the owner of a 2001 Chrysler Prowler with only 4,100 miles.

“If you appreciate classic cars, you need to get to this event,” Gould said. “Last year, we drew a large crowd from a five-state region and sold cars locally, regionally, nationally and internationally.”

The goal for this year’s event, held July 29 and 30 at the Denny Sanford Premier Center, is to offer 100 classic and collector cars from the region for sale at auction — from cars to trucks to motorcycles.

And it’s well on the way to achieving that.

“We are still accepting consignments, but there’s limited space available,” Gould said. “We encourage you to call or email right away before consignments close.”

To consign your car or collection of cars, call Gould at 406-698-7930, email [email protected] or consign through the website at classiccarauction.us.

Bidding will be live on-site as well as national and international bidding by phone and online powered by Proxibid.  The entry fee is $10, which is good both Friday and Saturday, and kids 12 and younger are free.
