Forward Sioux Falls has named its next program director.

Brittany Hanson most recently served as director of alumni relations and annual giving for the University of Sioux Falls.

Her new role involves planning, implementation and program management of Forward Sioux Falls, which is a public-private partnership led by the Greater Sioux Falls Chamber of Commerce and Sioux Falls Development Foundation.

“We interviewed a very qualified group of candidates, and Brittany rose to the top,” said Dave Flicek, chief operating officer for Avera Health and chair of the Forward Sioux Falls joint venture management committee. “She brings the professional experience, established relationships and high energy we were looking for to take an already successful Forward Sioux Falls to our next level.”

Hanson replaces Mike Lynch, who relocated out of state. She starts her new role in late July.
