Forbes: Sioux Falls ‘scrappy startup’ takes on big ag

Farmers Business Network, which has its national operations headquarters in Sioux Falls, is definitely on the radar of Forbes magazine.

Last year, it was named to a Forbes list of startups that could reach $1 billion in valuation.

And the magazine revisits the ag-tech company’s progress in its June 30 issue, which looks at how Farmers Business Network is helping small farmers access data they can use in their operations as well as offering an online store and marketing help.

The piece, which details the company’s background and business model, also looks at how industry giants DowDuPont, Monsanto and Syngenta so far have been slow to play ball with FBN.
