Silverstar Car Wash has become the go-to name for unlimited washes in Sioux Falls – and Midwest Fidelity Partners, founders of this local staple, has been tapped to help the brand expand to new communities throughout the Midwest.

“Silverstar is  the largest provider of car washes in Sioux Falls with 11 locations and is now the largest provider in Sioux City and Fargo, with six Silverstar locations in both communities, and now we’re strategically positioning the brand  to become market leaders in other areas,” said Bryan Slama, co-founder of Midwest Fidelity Partners, which develops Silverstar’s new locations.

“We’re encouraged by our early successes in these new markets. In all markets we target, it’s our goal to become the largest car wash network in each community.”

In 2023, Silverstar expanded in a big way to the north, where it now has six locations in Fargo and has become that area’s largest provider of car washes.

“Reception in that market has been great,” Slama said. “Silverstar had multiple openings in the Fargo area in 2023, and now we are excited to move east into the Twin Cities and focus on our strategy of becoming the largest brand in the Twin Cities.”

Already in 2024, Midwest Fidelity Partners has opened three Silverstars in the Minnesota cities of Inver Grove Heights, White Bear Lake and Coon Rapids and is slated to open two more Silverstar locations in the Twin Cities metro area in the first half of the year – in Anoka and Blaine.

And that’s just the start.

“We’re also developing four car wash sites in Des Moines, three in the Quad Cities, one in Omaha and five in the greater Salt Lake City area that will be opening under a variety of Mammoth Holdings brands,” Slama said.

Silverstar became part of Mammoth Holdings, the nation’s 10th largest express car wash platform, in 2021. Midwest Fidelity Partners, which is based in Sioux Falls, develops and builds new washes, which then are acquired and operated by Mammoth Holdings under its various brands, including Silverstar.

“We chose Des Moines and the Quad Cities to build a network of washes similar to how the Sioux Falls area is networked with 11 car washes. There’s a similarity of demographics to markets where we’ve succeeded in the past,” Slama said.

“We’re also starting to see construction costs come down, primarily in concrete, and subcontractors are being freed up from other jobs, so we’re experiencing tailwinds as we continue to develop car washes in new locations.”

Site selection and development in new markets is expected to continue throughout 2024 and into 2025.

“It’s our vision to become No. 1. in our new markets just as we have in our existing ones,” Slama said. “We have a proven model, a solid strategy for growth and, most importantly, a team positioned to execute it.”
