May 1, 2019

Three local businesses are joining forces to bring more food options to The Empire Mall.

Oh Nuts has partnered with Young & Richards fudge and Gaylen’s Homegrown Popcorn to open a new store at the mall near center court.

It’s the former Teavana space near Bare Minerals.

Oh Nuts came to the mall during the holiday season and sells roasted pecans, cashews, almonds and peanuts covered in a warm cinnamon glaze. It also will carry chocolate-covered nuts, cotton candy, fountain soda, coffee, hot chocolate and gift trays and baskets.

“We had a fantastic experience this past holiday season with our pop-up location within The Empire Mall and received numerous customer requests to reopen our doors at The Empire Mall,” said Rod Hunter, owner of Oh Nuts. “We’re coming back with more items shoppers will love and are also proud to share we will be expanding our business to help the fundraising world.”

Young & Richards, which is located downtown, will offer its signature fudge in the space. Gaylen’s Homegrown Popcorn from Wentworth will offer specialty popcorn.

“We are thrilled to welcome Oh Nuts back to The Empire Mall along with two other favored local retailers,” said Dan Gies, general manager at mall. “The Empire Mall prides itself on being a community hub, and we’re excited to have three local shops within one store for our shoppers to enjoy.”
