There are more options for playing games at the east-side Pizza Ranch.

The enlarged FunZone arcade — about double the size of the previous one — offers 14 new games.

“So far, it’s been a wow factor,” said franchisee Aaron Hansen, who has been a partner since the location at 3809 E. 10th St. opened in 2008 and has owned it outright since 2016.

“I was here all weekend as we got it opened, and they’re really impressed with it, love the new games and the size of it as well.”

The new space also has better visibility, he said

“You look down the hallway, and you’re looking into the game room,” he said.“I’m really happy with it.”

The expansion includes a new party room but is still waiting on furniture.

“We’re just waiting on tables and chairs. We have some small items, wall decor, we’re waiting to receive in both areas,” Hansen said, adding he’s just happy kids are able to come check out the new FunZone while they’re still on summer break.

“That’s huge to get it exposed to them before they go back to school, and hopefully they talk about it,” he said.

More new additions are ahead of the East 10th Street retail center, where Dollar Tree and Planet Fitness are under construction next to Pizza Ranch.
