Women’s retailer Dry Goods has opened at The Empire Mall.

It carries trendy apparel, accessories and gifts, and is located in the space near Center Court between Victoria’s Secret Pink and Eddie Bauer.

“We are confident that area shoppers will appreciate our beautiful store, exciting merchandise and excellent customer service,” said Lindsay Caltagirone, vice president of Dry Goods.

The store caters to young adults and offers contemporary merchandise in addition to an interest-free credit card.

It’s the first Dry Goods in South Dakota. A grand opening is planned for Saturday with a gift with purchase offered to those who spend at least $50.

Dry Goods is a subsidiary of the Iowa-based Von Maur department store chain and operates 55 stores in 16 states.
