Downtown restaurant owners bringing new concept to Fernson kitchen

March 28, 2022

The owners of Crawford’s in downtown Sioux Falls are starting a new restaurant out of the kitchen at Fernson Downtown.

The Ode family is launching Wagoo Burgers inside Fernson Brewing Co.’s taproom at 332 S. Phillips Ave. on Friday.

The menu will feature locally sourced, family-grown beef from a farm near Humboldt.

“Our cattle are raised with love and processed by small businesses to ensure that from barn to burger, everything is thoughtfully made with our farmers, our family and our community in mind,” Paul Ode, Wagoo Burger co-owner, said in a statement.

The menu will include a selection of burgers, chislic and other American-inspired comfort foods, he said.

Ode and his four brothers purchased Crawford’s last year.

At Fernson, Wagoo replaces Murph’s Burgers & Fries, which ran the kitchen starting late last year and then expanded to a stand-alone restaurant on the east side this month.
