Domino’s will be opening two new locations in the Sioux Falls area.

The first location will be on North Marion Road, across the street from Jefferson High School.

“Northwest Sioux Falls has a lot of momentum with commercial development,” said Ryan Tysdal, vice president of commercial real estate for Van Buskirk Cos., who represents Domino’s.

“Domino’s recognized the aggressive amount of residential development in the area and wanted to position their newest Sioux Falls store to serve these new neighborhoods.”

Tysdal attributes the growth in the area to Jefferson High School.

“Schools drive neighborhoods. Neighborhoods drive traffic. And traffic drives retail,” he said.

Domino’s will occupy a drive-thru endcap in a new five-tenant retail center.

“We will have four additional spaces for lease,” Tysdal said. “To date, there has not been a lot of space available for small retail and office tenants in this area. This will offer opportunities for additional businesses.”

Domino’s will join Scooter’s Coffee and DQ Grill & Chill, both of which have opened for business in the area. Nyberg’s Ace also has purchased land for a future hardware store.

Domino’s second new location will be in Brandon in a retail center on Holly Boulevard along with Scooter’s Coffee and Edward Jones.

“Brandon continues to grow, and that growth is continuing to bring new businesses to town,” Tysdal said.

“We saw the addition of Jimmy John’s this summer, and we have additional retail announcements for Brandon in the months ahead.”

Both Domino’s locations will include pickup windows. Tysdal said he expects the Brandon location to be open by the end of the year, with the one near Jefferson opening in 2025.
