Dollar Tree is adding two more stores in Sioux Falls.

The value-driven retailer is leasing 10,000 square feet in an existing retail center at Lake Lorraine between Hobby Lobby and Dave & Buster’s.

“Dollar Tree is joining the already-fantastic lineup of national retailers at Lake Lorraine,” said Ryan Tysdal, vice president of commercial real estate at Van Buskirk Cos., who represents Dollar Tree in South Dakota. “We have continued momentum at Lake Lorraine, adding new retailers each year.”

Lake Lorraine continues to be an attractive area to national retailers touring the market in search of new sites, he added.

“Our retailers at Lake Lorraine perform well,” Tysdal said. “Many of them are top performers in their respective companies.”

Dollar Tree also is joining Fleet Farm and Scooter’s Coffee on Benson Road at the Sanford Sports Complex.

“Dollar Tree was attracted to the site because of the retail anchor, Fleet Farm, as well as the 2.7 million annual visits to the Sanford Sports Complex,” Tysdal said.

The traffic counts on Interstate 29 also were a draw, with more than 55,000 cars per day, he added.

Both locations are expected to open next year.
