The Sioux Falls Development Foundation will make what it’s calling a major announcement Friday involving Foundation Park.

The foundation acquired more than 800 acres in northwest Sioux Falls near interstates 29 and 90 in 2015, but early interest from businesses hasn’t yet turned into land sales.

Recently the foundation announced $16 million in financing from area banks to support developing infrastructure at the site.

The announcement Friday is scheduled for 11 a.m.
