This paid event listing is sponsored by Keystone Group International.

Three area leaders in promoting a culture of well-being will share insight at an upcoming Culture Cohort event in Sioux Falls.

Presented by Keystone Group International, it will be May 25 from 8 to 10 a.m. at Southeast Tech with a virtual option and will feature:

  • Rana DeBoer, Keystone’s chief impact officer.
  • Jennifer Reecy, chief employee experience officer, The First National Bank in Sioux Falls.
  • Erica Beck, chief of staff for the city of Sioux Falls.

“Leading business success today means focusing on team health and energy through culture. Employees continue to evaluate their relationship with work as they look for cultures that fulfill a deeper sense of purpose and fuel the whole person,” DeBoer said.

“Now is the time to take a breath, refill and lean back into your culture with intensity and strength.”

The event is a good fit for any business owner or organizational leader, especially those who work in operations, human resources, safety, and talent and development.

“Leaders understand they need to invest in culture, that it’s important to be intentional in creating an environment that shapes the way people think, act and interact to achieve business excellence,” DeBoer said. “Well-being does that. It’s the way to level up and evolve your culture at the individual and organizational level — to be future-ready while also sustaining strength for today.”

Topics covered will include:

  • How the whole person contributes to business performance.
  • What it means to build a culture that fuels leaders and organizational well-being.
  • Where to start in crafting an exceptional employee experience.

“We are all thought leaders in this space,” DeBoer said.

“Jennifer Reecy is a veteran people leader who has put well-being and resilience at the forefront of the people strategy at First National Bank. She can speak from a depth of both military and corporate expertise on how to build people and a workforce that is resilient and ready to face the challenges of today.”

Beck has always made well-being a cornerstone of her leadership in family, work and the community, DeBoer continued.

“She brings a wealth of insight and application on the value and importance of the whole person for leading well at all levels and how the emotional and physical environment impacts the health of the individual and community, how business fits into this picture,” DeBoer said.

DeBoer will round out the conversation by addressing the strength of building and sustaining positive, productive workplace cultures through employee well-being and how it is a critical capacity factor to business success.

“I will share what ‘peak performance’ in leadership excellence means for creating high-functioning teams and to co-creating exceptional work cultures, and how to build a workforce experience where employees feel valued, invested in and positively accountable to therefore bring their best and brightest to work each day to achieve business goals,” she said.

“I expect to also spur a great conversation with my expertise in risk management and how we can’t afford to see health and well-being only as a benefit; we need to recognize the capacity and vitality of our people and teams as a risk to support.”
