Consultants form group to pool services

By Jodi Schwan

Area professionals have banded together to offer complementary business coaching services.

Precision Leadership Group is a collaborative venture that allows its partners to work independently but collaborate and pool resources with clients.

It’s owned by Lisa Te Slaa, a veteran leadership and organizational development coach with more than 25 years of experience, including executive coaching.

The other partners are:

  • Mark Elliott, whose consulting practice includes helping firms with strategic planning, marketing, innovation, franchising and change.
  • Treva Graves, a national speaker, image and communications coach, business etiquette trainer and leadership facilitator.
  • Gary Weckwerth, whose 35-year career has included helping companies grow through sales management, development, sales coaching and leadership coaching.

“We think it’s cutting-edge as it allows all of us to grow without huge startup costs,” said Weckwerth, who is consulting part-time while working for Heartland Payment Systems as a division manager for South Dakota and North Dakota.

“By pooling our resources and networks, we can be that single-source firm and offer personal and organizational development that delivers long-term behavioral change, measurable results and a guaranteed ROI.”

The group is not a training company, he said, but rather a group that coaches and facilitates “through a proven process of personal growth to achieve one’s personal and organizational goals.”

While any industry can benefit, the group has seen success so far working in manufacturing, financial services, health care and real estate, he said.

“One solution never fits all,” he added. “Once we meet with a company and understand where they want to go, we will pool our resources and present a solution. It could be all or one of us working with a company.”

A ribbon-cutting will be at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 1,  at The Country Club of Sioux Falls.

The group can be reached through precisionleadershipgroup.com.
