Here’s a look at recent changes in the business landscape in the Sioux Falls area.

Storm Clinic is building a new location and will rebrand as Allure Health and offer additional services. The multispeciaity medical practice will include a dedicated space for ivClub, a new fitness center and a cafe/bar. The two story-building will be at 7000 S. Lyncrest Place, about a half-mile north of the current location in the Sioux Falls Specialty urgent care building. It’s expected to open by the end of the year.

Josephine’s Floral Designery has left its longtime shop at the 8th & Railroad Center. For now, it is filling orders from a temporary location that’s not open to the public. It will reopen this summer at The Wedge on Western, which is on Western Avenue, south of 69th Street.

The longtime owners of Roll’n Pin Café & Grille are reopening Tre Lounge at 601 W. 33rd St. The Hillman family purchased the building, which it has been and will continue to use for its Roll’n Pin catering business. It’s expected to reopen this summer.

The new International Mini Market at 1508 W. 41st St. features grocery items from more than a dozen countries, including Bosnia, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Korea and India.

A pair of family-owned businesses have outgrown their production space and are headed to a larger building this summer. Salty Pop Popcorn and Kwik Kerb will relocate from an industrial development north of Sioux Falls to a building at 2406 N. Fourth Ave. Kwik Kerb will add a showroom.

A faith-based addiction-recovery organization has opened a second thrift store. The Thrift Shop’s new location is in a former veterinary clinic at 3209 S. Summit Ave., just north of 41st Street. It’s open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday through Saturday.The sale of donated goods supports the work of Washed Clean Addiction & Recovery Ministries.

First Premier Bank has moved into its new five-story building on the northeast corner of 14th and Minnesota. The 77,000-square-foot building houses 135 employees and has the capacity to grow by about 25 percent. The former headquarters on the southwest corner of 14th and Minnesota is on the market.

Gist Wine Shop is coming to 108 W. 11th St. Owner Mel Guse’s experience includes reaching the highest level of international sommelier certification while she was working at wine-related jobs in the San Francisco area. She started Gyst Fermentation Bar in Minneapolis in 2014 but returned to Sioux Falls, her hometown, in 2019. The new shop is expected to open in May.

Spoke-N-Sport is opening another location in Sioux Falls. The new bike shop will be in the former Get-N-Go on South Cliff Avenue, which recently closed. The site is adjacent to the city’s recreation trail, and the Spoke-N-Sport is expected to open in June. Eventually, it will offer bike rentals. The Minnesota Avenue store will begin carrying ski and snowboarding merchandise later this fall.

Papa Woody’s Wood Fired Pizza is moving north on Phillips Avenue to The Cascade mixed-use building. The restaurant, which started as a food truck, has been in the marketplace of the Jones421 Building for almost two years. The menu will continue to focus on pizza but will build on additional offerings such as hamburgers and pasta. Papa Woody’s will gain a full liquor license with the move, which is expected in August.

Falls Overlook Cafe has reopened for the season at Falls Park. Hours are 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday.

A locally owned franchise of a national bathroom remodeling company has opened in Sioux Falls. Re-Bath offers a full line of products and finishes from showers and bathtubs to toilets and cabinets and does all the remodeling work. The business has a showroom at 1110 W. 41st St.
