Charlie’s Pizza is getting closer to returning to Sioux Falls.

Construction is underway in the new location at 69th Street and Western Avenue in the same retail center as McNally’s Irish Pub.

“Right now, we’re working on the floors at the space. Once that is completed, we will start moving the equipment in,” said owner Chuck Rezac, who also has the Yankton location.

The hope is to open in late March.

Charlie’s is hiring for all positions, including a kitchen manager, bar manager, cooks, servers and hosts.

Depending on how hiring goes, Rezac would like to be open for lunch along with dinner.

Charlie’s was located in Sioux Falls originally from the 1960s through the 1980s.
